Production Operator – 1st ShiftWe are looking for dependable Production Operators to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position involves inspecting and packing ceramic parts, performing light finishing work, and operating basic production equipment as needed. This is a hands-on position that requires good attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to stand for several hours at a time. On-the-job training is provided.ResponsibilitiesInspect ceramic parts for defects and quality issuesPack finished products that meet quality standardsPerform limited descaling and finishing using a file or grinderOperate a drill press using manual and foot-pedal controls as neededOperate a wet saw on a limited basisMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow safety and quality proceduresPerform other production duties as assigned by managementQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredManufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not requiredGood attention to detailGood vision, with corrective glasses if neededAbility to work safely around production tools and equipmentDependable and able to follow instructionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand in one place for several hoursGood hand speed and coordination for inspecting and handling partsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally (approximately 5% of the workday)Most individual parts weigh less than 1 lb.
